Conceptually I like unikernels, but I don’t think they’ll ever take off, it’s too arcane. Everyone knows how to deploy to VMs and debug their application there if needed. How do you debug a misbehaving app under a unikernel when you have no shell, no tcpdump, no dig? How do you secure your app with no iptables?
